Well It's a darn sight drier in the old kitchen tonight! No thanks to the builders mind you, got a call from them at 7pm saying "can't do anything it's too wet"!!!!!! Well Duh!!!! that's the problem!! Luckily hubby was home and managed to tape some plastic bags over the vent and that seems to have done the trick! Well I did do my baking last night! Just made some peach melba slices, bloomin' lovely! Although I do think they're a wee bit on the sweet side, but then this is the first baking I have done since school, so not so bad!
Well onto this weeks challenge over at Simply Magnolia, and it every bodies favourite, well certainly mine ;)
Anything goes!
I have used show the way Tilda and North Pole Whitey Polar Bear, He's soo cute!! both from the latest collection and I have masked them onto the heart with  background text, from an older collection! Raindrops keep falling on my...........cooker!?!?!

Good afternoon peeps!
Well after our new house (built 5 yrs ago) needed to have all the exterior walls chipped off and re-plastered etc. in the summer, now in the first heavy rain since then, the water is pouring down our kitchen wall!!! Aaarrrgghhh!!!!! Of course this had to happen on a Saturday and trying to get hold the the builders is a nightmare!!  So we are just waiting for someone to call back! Luckily it hasn't affected my oven as thanks to "The great British bake off" I am going to try my hand at some baking this afternoon! I am hopefully (very hopefully, I am a terrible baker!!) making "peach melba squares"  and maybe some Dorset apple traybake! Yumm!!!
Well onto this  fortnights challenge over at Basic Grey challenges Which is:

Right then sorry had to leave again as water pouring into kitchen! I have used this wonderful uptown girls stamp from stamping bella. The papers are Basic grey Eva, I have used oodles of glitter, some clear gems and some silky crush ribbon from the ribbon girl.

Hiya all! Feeling a little calmer today! :) printer is up and running c.v's printed, although when Logan tried to hand them out, a surprising number of shops, wouldn't take them, as applications now have to be done online! Hi peeps, just a quickie today just can't seem to get on top of everything today, every easy task seems to turn onto a nightmare, for example Logan wanted some C.V's printed, ran out of ink, not such a problem except that I bought a new printer in the sales a few months back and have been running my ink down before I change over, well this is about the 10th epson printer I have had over the years and usually I can set them up in about 20mins....... 2hrs later and the darn thing came close to disappearing through the window!! It's finally set up now though!

Back to School with Basic Grey!

Hiya peeps, well my boyo (welsh for.....um...well...I guess just ...) can you believe I just had to check on google for a translation, and that was a pile of poop! one person says it means mate or friend! Nooooot!!!!!!! another said actual welsh people don't say it, only English people taking the p**s say it Nooooot!!!! and another said it just means boy. Hmmmm close; I think it is one of those words that doesn't really have any literal translation like Cwtch! (no don't ask!!!) To me boyo does mean boy but it is kinda more.... like it's an affectionate way to say naughty or mischievous boy! (btw I am very Welsh and proud of it, but also proud to live in Scotland!) So where was I ..... Oh yes my boyo has been back in school for 2 weeks now!! But I know a lot of my English .. and Welsh friends are getting ready for the back to school chaos now! So that leads nicely (yeah right.. no one ever accused me of being  concise!! Lol!!) To this fortnights challenge over at Basic Grey Challenge!  which is:
Back to School!!
Not to sure about this one, Mojo has gone a bit iffy again and ended up rushing my design team projects this week! Hope you notice that Tilda is holding the pencils that she used on the word search?! Well the green and blue ones, she has already put away her red pencil!! (yes I am aware I am rambling now!!! Wow I really enjoyed using this sketch and I am sure I will be using it again!!
Here is my take on it:
Yup it's Frizzy Tilda again!! I just love this cutie!! I have gone for a more "traditional" feel for this card rather than the funky one last time! :) I have coloured the image with my copics:

clothes - B 91,93,95 and B90 which I made myself by taking an empty pen and mixing B91 with colourless blender!

The beautiful papers are Maja, the flowers a mix of Kort & Godt and WOC, the metal corner is also WOC and has been frantaged with shabby pink and chunky white, as has the pennant banner and various parts of the card! the lace is from Ribbon girl!

Shhhh.. Don't tell the washing machine I'm sitting down!!!

My washing machine isn't very happy with me!!!
Yes it's that time of the year again... Boy wonder has arrived home from 2 weeks at cadet summer camp, and to say his washing is ripe is not only an understatement, but a downright lie!! lol!! And yes I can tell Logan is getting older (16 in November) rather than looking shamefaced at the green cloud rising from his bags, he chased his poor mother around the kitchen with the bag containing the worst offenders!!! Urrghhh!!
Onto happier news! Logan got his exam results this week: He passed every subject and got 5 credits! so proud of him! Thank you so much Tracy for being the voice of reason when I was panicking!! Now onto the year of hell where he need to pass 4 highers 3 A's and a B to get into the Engineering course he wants!! Although he is now not sure he want to be an engineer, as he would prefer something more "hands on"! So time will tell!
Well it's time for another fantastic challenge over at Basic Grey Challenges! this fortnight we are as always sponsored by the wonderful Simon Says Stamp who are offering one lucky winner a $25 spending spree! So we would love to see your creations with the theme of :
Weather!
Don't forget to use some Basic Grey in your project!

She sells sea shells!! - sea shell Tilda for Simply Magnolia

Good Afternoon!
Well it's that time of year again! Logan has left home to go to Cadet camp for 2 weeks! And Robert has gone offshore for a week or two so I am all on my lonesome!!! :( ........ Oh who am I kidding I am doing the happy dance in my undies!!!! I do get a little lonely, but wow do I love, watching what I want, eating what I want when I want, crafting and generally having a ball!! Well ok I do tend to try and do a bit of a spring? Summer cleaning done, Sorry Jenny I know I disappoint you!! Lol!! I may even get some real crafting done although Mojo has been missing so long I think I may have to list it as dead! really not sure what is going on with afore mentioned Mojo it just doesn't seem to be getting any better, I do think it is linked to my health though, with my Fibromyalgia I just don't seem to have any energy at the moment!
Anyhoo
Today over at Simply Magnolia We have my favourite challenge!

I couldn't resist taking one of my new Tilda's out to play!

The lace is from LLC and the ribbon, metal corner and pearls are from WOC. I have used some frantage to give the feeling of sand.

sunshine and Summer Wedding Tilda

Good afternoon!
Well today it is overcast and a little foggy here in Dundee! But I am not going to complain we have had more sunshine so far this summer than the last 5 put together! :) and I guess fog is something you have to live with when you live on the coast!
This fortnight over A Basic Grey challenges we have a lovely challenge for you!
Flowers
Don't forget to use a basic grey product!
It has to be said I am in my comfort zone when it comes to my lovely Maggies! I have used summer Wedding Tilda, and coloured her with my copics. I have stamped her with Grey flannel memento ink and in the pic her face looks a little washed out! It doesn't look so bad in real life, but I think I may have to darken her features in future! I have used "Sugared" paper from of course basic grey! This is one of my all time fav's! the banner is my lovely La La land Die and my fav joy crafts butterfly! the flowers are cosmo daisies from WOC the pearls, lace and ribbon are from my stash!
