On the road Tilda for Simply Magnolia!

Good afternoon crafty friends!
What a difference a day makes, yesterday is was dark rainy and foggy, today the sun is shining!  Just as well as I have decided that I am going to continue making summery cards even in the winter this year :p! Okay so there will be wintery and Christmas type cards, but I refuse to put away all my pretty summery stash, so on this note my card for this fortnights challenge over at Simply Magnolia
This fortnight we have a beautiful picture inspiration.
I always take picture inspirations quite literally, I think maybe it is a lack of imagination on my part (insert sympathy here) Lol! But I was pleased how true to the inspiration I managed to keep this card! and it is summery!!! I have used On the road Tilda and Tilda's birds, coloured with my copics. the papers are SEI Bridgeport and have beautiful shimmery highlights! The fence is a Magnolia Do-hickey and yes it is meant to be crooked!! Lol! and the butterflies are Martha Stewart punches.

Yum! Saturated Canary, Ratatouille for Basic grey!

Hiya all! Well I am sitting in my craft room looking at the most miserable weather ever!! I have the lights on at 13.00 because it is sooo dark and there is a drizzle so heavy outside that it looks like fog! You know the kind of drizzle that gets you wetter and colder than a down pour! Still I won't complain (hmm .. think you just did Jacqui!!) we did have a wonderful summer!!
Well this fortnight over at Basic grey challenges we have a fun and tasty challenge for you:
Food and Drink!
Just remember to use Basic grey and let us know what you have used!
Our wonderful regular sponsor is of course:
So onto my card!
I really enjoyed making this one and I have to confess I got the idea for using the birthday recipe stamp with this image from a card that the talented Deb Jennet made, " I thought Hmmm beautiful card I have that digi and that stamp.... Cool!!!"
The image is of course Saturated Canary Ratatouille, and the stamp is a lilli of the valley rubber stamp. I have used Basic grey Plumeria papers, so soft and pretty! the image is coloured with my Copics, the super cute knife and fork are magnolia dohickeys (the smaller set) Lace and pearls are from my stash!

Tilda with 2 rosettes, and still not square!!

Hiya all! Feeling a little calmer today! :) printer is up and running c.v's printed, although when Logan tried to hand them out, a surprising number of shops, wouldn't take them, as applications now have to be done online! I think that's a shame as Logan put a lot of work into his c.v and I thought that would help give him an edge! And Jenny.... I will gladly help you set up your printer in return for a chance to visit you in Australia!! ;)

Don't be square!

Hi peeps, just a quickie today just can't seem to get on top of everything today, every easy task seems to turn onto a nightmare, for example Logan wanted some C.V's printed, ran out of ink, not such a problem except that I bought a new printer in the sales a few months back and have been running my ink down before I change over, well this is about the 10th epson printer I have had over the years and usually I can set them up in about 20mins....... 2hrs later and the darn thing came close to disappearing through the window!! It's finally set up now though!
Anyhoo this fortnights challenge over at basic Grey challenges it to make a shaped card, not square.
I have used this Fabulous image by Mo Manning, just love her!!! She is coloured in with my copics and the papers are Basic Grey Persimmon. that's about it!! Lol!! I have used my new toy, a set of Go Kreate dies, so easy to use!
