Pretty as a Princess for Simply Magnolia

Hi everyone, as the famous quote goes, "rumors of my demise have been greatly exaggerated!"  Suffice to say (hopefully) I am back and healthy, I won't bore you all with a sorry tale of sickness, lets just say, where is Dr House when you need him!! lol!!

So onto the marvelous challenge this time over at Simply Magnolia  

Pretty as a princess

We would like to see Tilda with a crown.

I have used Tilda in cotton dress, she is coloured with my Copics, the castle is a do-hickey die. I  have used lovely Pion papers, the flowers are WOC and LLC and the lace is Ribbon girl.

Hi all hope you are all having a great day! Well It's that wonderful time again! Yes another superb challenge over at Simply Magnolia! This time we would love to see your Magnolia creations with a:

A Birthday Sentiment!

Can't say I didn't warn you about the pink!! Lol!! I adore this sweet Tilda hiding  rose bouquet! I have already coloured her a few times, now all I need to do is make some more cards!! I have coloured this sweetie with my Copics ... note to self never try to colour hundreds of tiny checks individually again!!!!! All the papers are Magnolia, the cute bow is a Magnolia Do-hickey, the flowers are a mix of WOC, Kort & Godt and Live and love crafts! the lace is from the Ribbon girl! I have punched some butterflies with some Martha Stewart punches and popped some pearls on them! Kind of wish I hadn't done the butterflies feel that they were a step too far!! the metal corner is frantaged with shabby pink!

Vintage Valentine for Simply Magnolia

Hi All

Doesn't time fly! Christmas feels like a distant memory already, but  at least the evenings are starting to draw out! It was light here till 17.15 yesterday! I can't wait for spring to arrive!

Well onto this fortnights challenge over at Simply Magnolia 

and it a perfect one for the time of year!

Vintage Valentine!

I have used this super cute stamp from last years Valentines collection ahhh what a sweetie! :)

I have coloured him/her with my copics the beautiful papers are Pion. I have used a cheery Lynn birdcage and a dohickey swirl. The flowers are from WOC and the sweet doves are from the ribbon girl. I have popped some gold embossing powder around the edge of the oval, birdcage, swirl and doves! I have also used some frantage.

Frizzy Tilda in black and white

Hi all, hope you are all safe and dry!

 Thankfully it has stopped raining for a day or 2 at last, I was about to start building an ark!

Well it's time for another great challenge over at Simply magnolia This time we would love to see your

BLACK AND WHITE CREATIONS!

Now I have to stress that you can use colour on your stamped image, but all the papers and embellishments have to be black and white! When I started this card my intention was to create a pop if colour in Tildas Bows, but I have to confess I love colouring in black and white (always forget till I have to do it!!) and I was so pleased with the way the images looked that I decided to just leave it without colour! I have coloured the images with Toner greys T0,1,3,5,7 and used T9 to make the dots on her bows! I love playing with the different greys!The papers are Maja!  I love this combo of images! Frizzy Tilda is one of my all time favourite stamps and I just can't help but compare this card with another I made last year with a SLIGHTLY  different colour scheme!

Whoopsie!! ....What day is it??

Well you could say better late than never?!?!

Sorry lovely peeps totally forgot what day it was yesterday, really been feeling off my game lately! Just everything seems to happen at once doesn't it?

I have used Prima Ballerina Tilda, I love all the ballerina Tilda's ... but is it just me or is there somthing just slightly "off" about her head? Anyway I still love her, I have coloured her with my copics, the papers are Maja, the beautiful lace is from the ribbon girl, flowers and metal corner are from WOC and the gems and ribbon are from my stash.

A sad goodbye to Basic Grey Challenge!

Hi Peeps!

Just a quickie today as I have the flu...... aahhhh!! Lol!

Well it has to be said I have put off writing this post! It is with a very heavy heart I have to say this will be the last challenge from Basic grey challenges!  I would love to thank all the lovely girlies who have been my team mates over the years! I have to say it has been an honour and a pleasure to work with each and every one of you! Basic grey was my very first design team and I have been lucky enough to be a member for almost 3 years!

Well onto this Challenge and it is everyone's favourite...

Anything Goes!

Yes I know Figgy Pudding papers again! I just love them!!! I have coloured Tilda with my Copics, the papers are of course Figgy pudding, just such great colours! and the gems doily and ribbon are from my stash!

On a happier note I have had a wee bit of a lucky streak! I won the ribbon girl magnolia only challenge last month and not only did I win a fantastic token from the ribbon girl.. thank you Mary! but imagine my surprise when my prize from magnolia arrived and I expected a stamp and recieved this parcel!

Oh My Goodness!! Thank you to Magnolia!

And then just checking to see what challenges to enter this morning and imagine my surprise I won the last challenge over at Lovely Hanglar challenge! Another amazing voucher for the ribbon girl!! Guess who's creations will have oodles of lovely ribbon, lace and pretty things soon!!.... ME!!
