Wow Look at me!! A  card for no other reason than pleasure!!  It felt really strange Lol!! I was really inspired by the colour challenge over at Saturated Canary, it has been so long since I had coloured anything my Copics felt really strange, and I have to say it is a testament to make it crafty blending card that the image tuned out reasonable at all, I must have done 20 layers before I was happy!!!

I tried to be a bit more adventurous with the shading around the image but my camera really really to leach the life out of colours!! Here is a closer look

Nope still looks washed out!!! The beautiful papers are Kaisercraft Bonjour collection, the butterfly cameo is from Bo-bunny and the corner and seam binding are Wild orchid Crafts! 

Hey no Ranting today either!!! I must be feeling better!!

Basic grey favourite things and a warning!!

Aaaaarrrrgghhhhh!!!!!! 

Photobucket changed again!! and now it doesn't allow you to "add" an image to an image so no watermarks!!! So ok I think, I will try a few other editing programs!!!!!!!! must confess I tried a few so not entirely sure of the culprit, but the sh*t storm started after downloading Gimp!!! in fact I am almost certain it was Gimp, because I noticed it downloaded some "extras" whilst downloading!! well I have spent the entire day today removing programs and running full system scans and only now is my laptop working properly!! I guess Photobucket will have to suffice!!! The annoying thing is that my laptop came pre-loaded with adobe photoshop and I can't come to grips with it!! My nephew laughed at me when I complained and said that a friend of his was doing her degree on "photoshop" well if you need a degree to work it I am doooomed!!!! Rant over!! just be careful out there!! :)

Going back to my previous rant.... you know the one about the price of going to the Cinema!! When was the last time anyone went to watch a movie and there were more than about 10 peeps there?? they still have to pay staff and heat and clean the premises, I was gratified by how many of you lovely peeps agreed with me lower prices would mean more bums on seats and more snacks bought...... more money!! simples!!!!

So the reason I have returned to the cinema is that yesterday I went to see "Warm Bodies" (about 5 other people apart from the 3 of us!! and its half term here!!) anyhoo AMAZING!!!!!! what a fabby film!!! the overall message could be seen as a bit corny, but wow I laughed, cried and totally fell in love with a brain eating Zombie!!!!! One of the best films I have seen in a long time!!

Wow I have waffled on today!!!! on to the best bit!! It is time for another brilliant new challenge over at Basic grey challenges this fortnight is easy peasy!!

Well of course my favourites are Basicgrey papers, I have used cappella, and Magnolia stamps, I love this "Tilda with Ugg shoes" she if defo one of my all time favourites! Add to that some butterflies and lace and I am a happy camper!!

OMG I forgot again!!!!

Oh so sorry lovely peeps, I am late with this weeks Songbird post!!

Just can't seem to shake this Blah feeling!!

Hopelessly Devoted to you!

 Ahh now that brings me back!!! I went to see Grease about 5 times with my big sis!! Am I the only one who loves the Cinema but finds the prices ridiculous these days!!!! Myself Rob and Logan went to a movie a couple of months ago not realising it was 3D until the lady at the till asked for about £32 pounds I think it was!!!! for three people one of which is classed as a junior ticket!! Well no popcorn for us!!!! Surely it would be better to charge half the amount, I am sure they would get more than twice the amount of peeps through the door, and those peeps would be able to afford treats,  am I wrong!!! Rant over!!! Hmmm feeling better now!! 

BTW it's blizzarding outside as I write!!!! Hmmm didn't mention that this morning, did you Mr weather man!!

Right where was I? Oh yes!!

I tried to keep the colouring simple as the papers are rather busy!! Lol!! the image has been coloured in with my copics and the papers are basic grey Sugar Rush, which haven't seen the light of day it has to be said for at least a year or more!! the wee hearts are from the the paper set!

Love is in the air over at Basic grey challenge!

Good Afternoon!

 Well the snow has finally arrived here in Dundee! Yesterday it snowed constantly from about  07.30 in the morning till about 9pm, but we still only have a disapointing half inch of slushy stuff to show for it!! :(  Still it is a beautiful sunny day here today so a great day to stay in my craft room and have some crafty fun, although mojo is still a bit MIA!!

So onto the challenge theme!! this fortnight in a timely fashion ready for Valentines day it is:

Love is in the air!

I have used lovely "Tilda with dot bow" from the new with love collection from magnolia (and a new favourite!!) and masked her up with the I love you sentiment from the sweet crazy love collection, I think they go perfectly together!! I have coloured the images with my copics, I have used a mixture of greys, in fact all the greys!! the red I achieved my colouring with R56 and 59 then highlighting the lighter areas with a totally different red R05 I really like the effect! I think I need to be braver and play more with colours!! The Beautiful papers I have used are Scarlets letter by of course Basic Grey!, the doily is in fact from Simon says stamp from a stash I bought when lucky enough to win a voucher from another challenge!

Good Morning Songbirds!

I hope you are safe and warm where ever you may be! we have had a very disappointing snow fall here in Dundee! barely enough to cover the ground, swiftly followed by a melt! I am a big kid a heart and wake up every morning and the first thing I do is run to the window!! and nothing!!!! just a few miles up the road they have had loads!!  Not Fair!!!! Lol!!

I have used this Beautiful image from Teddy Bo This was actually a freebie that the lovely Gayle gave away a little while ago!! I just added a little hint of colour with my copics. the papers are Cloud nine baby boy, the sentiment is lili of the valley and the pretty corner a la la land die.

Mmmmmm Ice cream!!!!!

Happy Saturday!!!!

Wow just about half way through January already! Still no real snow here in Dundee! I thought we were going to have a really white winter, after we had a good covering in the middle of November!!! Not sure if the lack of snow is a good thing or not!! the child in me loves snow, the grown up thinks about the hassles!!

Music soothes the soul!

goooood Morning  (oops even when I am prepared and have my post written up I forget to post it!!, blush!!) songbirds!

Wow where have the last few weeks gone! I took down all the decorations on Saturday and Christmas feels a million years age :( 

Never mind time to start looking forward to spring!! Hmmmm ever the optimist!!! Lol!!
