I'm dreaming of a white ... Easter!

Good morning lovely blogging friends!

Well it feels more like December than March here in Dundee at the mo!! I honestly think we have had the worst weather of the entire winter these last couple of weeks or so! it has snowed just about every day, although it hasn't settled too much, just a couple of inches here and there. It's just soooo cold and now we have dreadful wind as well!! Never mind the days are drawing out nicely and there is an end in site (I hope!!!) Lol!

Anyway onto my card!

I have used super cute Tilda hiding Easter egg for the latest spring release masked with the gate from a previous release, the Basic grey papers I have used are Kioshi, one of my favourites! the doily is a cottage cutz die and the flowers are WOC and LLC.

Well Craft room is painted and the end in in sight!! ....Except hubby just called me downstairs my new storage unit has the wrong panel!!! Aaarrrgghhhh!!! so unless I can get a new one by Tuesday morning, that's another  2 weeks when hubs is off shore!!!

Oh no more snow!!!!!!

Wow we have blizzards here in Dundee!!! where oh where is spring!!!

Well I am late as usual, but good excuse this time, both hubby and Logan have Man flu!!! And Guess who has a nasty cold it reminds me of that boots advert where the women are buying all the cold and flu treatments for their men and are obviously ill themselves!! !!!  I think I will need a holiday the way they are going!! Lol!!

I loved colouring this cutie! although I had to keep turning her around it felt strange that she was upside down :) I have coloured her with my Copics and the papers are some ancient DCWV that I discovered during the ongoing craft room sortage!! (I know sortage isn't a real word!!!) I have followed the sketch over at sketch and stash, my neglected stash is the afore mentioned papers!

Spring is in the air!!!.......hmmmmm?!?!

Well spring was in the air!!Lol! Now it's cold and wet ... and it's snowing a few miles up the Road!!! Aaarrgghhh!!! Well our Challenge over at basic grey this fortnight is...

Spring is in the air!!

And with all the beautiful sunshine and birds singing last week, methinks I got maybe a little to optimistic with my spring card!!!!!!

Hmmmmm I think the sentiment says it all!!! DREAM !!  Ok so maybe it's more summery than spring like but a girl can wish!!

This beautiful image is an Elisabeth bell stamp called sunshine and apples! She is an original Bells and whistles Red rubber stamp, how sad was I when this company closed down :( I really need to dig out my Elisabeth bell stamps more often!! I am  quite precious about them and have nearly all the originals!! Love them!!!  I have coloured the image with my copics, I followed the beautiful sketch over at Elisabeth bells world challenge, the papers are basic grey Lilykate, yes the La La land corner is back and the letters for the sentiment are from an ancient K & Co set.

peaches and cream anyone?

Good afternoon! No you are not hallucinating I really am posting 2 days in a row!! Woo hooo!

The elusive gods of Mojo have paid me a visit, and I am making hay while the sun shines!!

Well this card started life when I saw that the Lili's little fairies challenge this week is Peaches and cream. Well I knew instantly what papers I wanted to use!

These beautiful papers are Graphic 45 once upon a springtime! So then all I had to do was choose one of my .. and I hate to admit, sorely neglected.. Lili of the Valley stamps! Well this little cutie just screamed peaches and cream to me! I have coloured her with my Copics, threaded some ribbon around the spellbinder die, I thought a doily was very fitting, and the corners are one of my new fav's from La La land! Lace is from my stash! I do hope this inspiration continues as it's usually a good sign that the old depression is lifting!! :) Maybe it's the sunshiny days!!

Mama I love you over at Songbird

Good morning Songbirds!!

Well I don't know about the rest of the country, but we have been feeling decidedly spring like here in Dundee over the past few days!! Saturday I was able to fling open all my windows and doors, it was lovely!!

Well it's been another 2 weeks since our last challenge so onto this fortnights challenge! and our song this time is

Mama I love you!

 So we would love to see all your Mothers day cards.

Right were to start!! Lol! The image is beautiful Tilda with big Tulips from the with love collection, I have also used the magnolia chocolate stamp. the image is coloured in with my copics, and I added a few highlights to her hair with my prismacolor pencils (well I have to wipe the dust off them occasionally!! ) Lol! the heart die is a magnolia do-hickey and the corners are La La Land, the butterfly is a Martha Stewart punch, I have added a little picket fence paint around the edges. the Papers are Maja. Kinda like this one!! think my Mojo is finally starting to return!!
