Basic grey challenge - A Sketch by Heather

Hi All,  Happy Saturday!!!

Well it's finally arrived!!! my first post with the amazing basicgrey Team!!!!

I am truly honoured that they have allowed little old me to help show this amazing collection off to the blogging universe!! This week we have a terrific sketch by Heather and what a fab sketch it was to work with!! I really enjoyed it and I'm sure I will be using it many times!!

Yes it's another Elisabeth Bell!! I recently managed to find some of Sugar Nellies discontinued Elisabeth bell stamps on E-bay!! how happy was I !!!! I have wanted this little lass for a wee while now!! She is certainly cute!!

The Basicgrey papers I have used are the lovely Kioshi! I love the spring feel in the lavenders and greens!! Although it doesn't feel very springlike as I type this post it sounds as if the roof is coming off!!!

I have coloured this little Lass with my trusty copics! the seam binding is from wildorchid crafts and the flowers are prima! Kims in Awe!!!! more Elizabeth bell!!

Told you I was obsessed with Elizabeth Bell at the Mo!!

This little cutie is from the newest release from SCAD! Isn't she adorable!!

I have done this card in a distressed style, I wasn't sure about the inking around the edge but it seems to have come together ok! I have coloured her with my copics, the distress ink is brushed cordroy, the lovely DP is Prima. I used crystals from wild orchid to follow the swirl on the paper and create a trail behind the magnolia do-hickey butterfly! the sentiment is lili of the valley.

beautiful "Wee" digi stamps!!

Oh my goodness have you seen these adorable new digi stamps!!!

This is wee Susie!!!  she and her other wee friends are the creations of Sylvia Zet. her range are called Wee Stamps! after the fact that she lives in, and loves  Edinburgh!! who wouldn't!! It's almost as nice as Dundee!!!!! ROFL!!!! Hey who said Dundee isn't cultered!?!?! I love it here!!! Although I have left my heart in Cardiff!!! I'm a  good Taff!!!! Anyway I digress!! Beary big hugs!!!!

Hi All!!! Happy Saturday!! hope you're all having a lovely weekend so far!!

Spring seems to be in the air here in Dundee today!!

Has anyone noticed that their taste seems to go in cycles!!

At the moment I am totally obssessed with Elizabeth bell stamps!! and Basicgrey off course Lol!!!

I fell in love with this little Lass! she reminds me of Logan when he was little! he loved his bear!! (actually a stuffed dog called Tony!?! don't ask me where the name tony came from!?) just don't tell him I told you!!!

He's a strapping 13yr old now and of course never had a teddy!!!!!! Hmmmmm....

Well of course she is coloured with my trusty copics! the DP is basic grey Blush I coloured around the edge of the image, sentiment and heart  with Distress inks - tattered rose and spun sugar . the heart is cut out using the new marianne d  hearts die the flowers are wild orchid.

Well onto todays card!!

I thought for a change I would try leaving a lot of white on this sweet Tilda!! I think sometimes it's a little bit scary leaving white bits!! I have done a wee bit of shading with my cool grays, I was quite pleased with the way she turned out! Not soo sure about the rest..... oops!!! Tilda has been coloured using my copics as usual, mounted onto heidi grace DP with some prima flowers, the double bow has been done using the bow easy.

I'm not a troublemaker!!!

Hi diddlly Ho peeps!!!

Hope you're all having  fabby Sat!!

 Has anyone ever had this problem?? My Mojo is alive and well, but everything I try to do turns to BLAH!!!!! everything I colour goes out of the lines! or bleeds! I even glued the wrong side of an image!?!?!?! I glued the pic not the back!?!?! it's soooo frustrating!! think I will have to go back to bed!!Lol

Today I have coloured one of my all time fav images!!!( 3rd time lucky!!!)

 She's called troublemaker and can be found here as a digi, or through whimsy stamps if you're  into Rubber!!! Hmmmmmm!!! Lol!! I have coloured her in my all time fav colour combo, pink and brown, with my copics, she is mounted onto SEI Cholotat DP the sentiment is a digi from Whimsy!! how cool!!and the heart you can just see poking  out of the corner is marianne D.

valentines Tilda

Hi All!!

Today I have made a Valentines card

 A little more grungy than my normal cards, but this style is really growing on me!!!

I have coloured Tilda with my usual copics, the chipboard heart I coloured with my copics and then used crackle accents, the DP is MME and the sentiment is cuddly Buddly!
