On the beach with Frizzy Tilda for simply Magnolia

I don't think it's a secret that I love, love, love frizzy Tilda she's just sooo cute!!! :)
This fortnight over at Simply Magnolia we're all off to the beach!! with our fabby challenge of

On the beach!!

I masked no less than 4 stamps to create this scene! and was really pleased with it, and relatively happy with my colouring, and then...... eek what to do with the rest of my card! I decided to keep it simple, and truthfully I wish I hadn't added the banner, does anybody else find this, that it's actually putting the card together that is the problem?!?! I could colour till the cows come home but then find it so difficult to put the images into a card!!  It's not even colour matching the papers, I have learned my lesson with that one!! I nearly always chose my papers first now, it's embellishments that confuse the life out of me!! ;)
~
anyhoo the challenges I would like to enter are:

Tilda's Town - anything goes
7 Kids challenge - anything goes
Magnolia Mania - Summer
papertake weekly - jolly holiday

Frizzy Tilda in black and white

Hi all, hope you are all safe and dry!
Thankfully it has stopped raining for a day or 2 at last, I was about to start building an ark!
Well it's time for another great challenge over at Simply magnolia This time we would love to see your
BLACK AND WHITE CREATIONS!
Now I have to stress that you can use colour on your stamped image, but all the papers and embellishments have to be black and white! When I started this card my intention was to create a pop if colour in Tildas Bows, but I have to confess I love colouring in black and white (always forget till I have to do it!!) and I was so pleased with the way the images looked that I decided to just leave it without colour! I have coloured the images with Toner greys T0,1,3,5,7 and used T9 to make the dots on her bows! I love playing with the different greys! The papers are Maja!  I love this combo of images! Frizzy Tilda is one of my all time favourite stamps and I just can't help but compare this card with another I made last year with a SLIGHTLY  different colour scheme!
He he, Slightly different hey!!!
So don't forget to pop over to Simply Magnolia to see all my talented teamies creations and join the fun of our BLACK AND WHITE challenge!

Well Duh!!!! that's the problem!! Luckily hubby was home and managed to tape some plastic bags over the vent and that seems to have done the trick! Well I did do my baking last night! Just made some peach melba slices, bloomin' lovely! Although I do think they're a wee bit on the sweet side, but then this is the first baking I have done since school, so not so bad!
Well onto this weeks challenge over at Simply Magnolia, and it every bodies favourite, well certainly mine ;)

I have used show the way Tilda and North Pole Whitey Polar Bear, He's soo cute!! both from the latest collection and I have masked them onto the heart with  background text, from an older collection! Raindrops keep falling on my...........cooker!?!?!

Good afternoon peeps!
Well after our new house (built 5 yrs ago) needed to have all the exterior walls chipped off and re-plastered etc. in the summer, now in the first heavy rain since then, the water is pouring down our kitchen wall!!! Aaarrrgghhh!!!!! Of course this had to happen on a Saturday and trying to get hold the the builders is a nightmare!!  So we are just waiting for someone to call back! Luckily it hasn't affected my oven as thanks to "The great British bake off" I am going to try my hand at some baking this afternoon! I am hopefully (very hopefully, I am a terrible baker!!) making "peach melba squares"  and maybe some Dorset apple traybake! Yumm!!!
Well onto this  fortnights challenge over at Basic Grey challenges Which is:

Right then sorry had to leave again as water pouring into kitchen! I have used this wonderful uptown girls stamp from stamping bella. The papers are Basic grey Eva, I have used oodles of glitter, some clear gems and some silky crush ribbon from the ribbon girl.

Don't be square!

Hi peeps, just a quickie today just can't seem to get on top of everything today, every easy task seems to turn onto a nightmare, for example Logan wanted some C.V's printed, ran out of ink, not such a problem except that I bought a new printer in the sales a few months back and have been running my ink down before I change over, well this is about the 10th epson printer I have had over the years and usually I can set them up in about 20mins....... 2hrs later and the darn thing came close to disappearing through the window!! It's finally set up now though!
Anyhoo this fortnights challenge over at basic Grey challenges it to make a shaped card, not square.
